FUTURE-PROOFING REPTON

NEW FACILITIES AND RESTORATION PROJECTS

The Repton Strategic Plan is our manifesto for the future and lays out our commitment to becoming outstanding in every area of school life. Rather than continue to grow bigger, we will strive to continue to grow better. Strong academic achievement underpinned by an exceptional offering in sport, the arts and music, with the wellbeing of pupils at its heart. And we will do all of this sustainably . . .

To realise the vision outlined in the Strategic Plan, we have a number of development projects planned, which we are raising funds for, as outlined below.

QUOTE

“Our pupils achieve in the classroom, because they never have to prioritise academic achievement over their love of the theatre, their aptitude for sport, or their passion for music."

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME

Subject to planning permission, two dedicated 3G floodlit astro pitches will allow play in all weather and at all times of year, which will be a great boost for the winter months. In addition, changing facilities for teams and officials, a covered seating area for spectators and parking, will make possible the hosting of FA Youth Cup, National League and Premier League Youth games. Four Padel tennis courts are also planned.

The new facilities will also enable the School to broaden its engagement and support with local sports clubs and will be open to the community, when not in use by the School.

If you would like to support the future of football at Repton, please contact the Development Director, jwolfe@repton.org.uk to discuss how you can help.

DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL - LUKE WEBB

Repton’s new Director of Football, Luke Webb, played professionally for Arsenal, Coventry City and Hereford United, before qualifying as a teacher, gaining his UEFA A Licence in coaching and creating a nationally acclaimed football education programme in independent schools.

Luke’s passion is education through football, combining academic, social and sporting excellence. Luke is one of the most innovative football coaches in the sports and education space, and plans to create the number one football education programme in the world for both boys and girls at Repton.
